Posted by Dan took the bus to Everett and Ashley and the kids picked him up there. We headed to James Island as soon as we got to the boat. We spent Friday hiking the island, we made our own trail around the north side which took quite some time. We saw a huge deer while hiking and otters in the bay. Saturday we took the dinghy about 9 to Eastsound on Orcas for the farmer’s market. It was a LONG dinghy ride there and back but we got ice cream so no one complained too loudly.
