Spent our first night on the boat even though we were tied to the dock. Lots of space heaters going since we don’t have heat. We took Samadhi into Commencement so the kids could get used to being on a moving boat and we could practice getting into our slip in the daylight. Dorothy & Dennis were out on SloJourn (still named SeaHawk, see picture). We didn’t dock quite as smoothly this time. She’s longer than our slip and our prop walk is to port, our berth is starboard tie. Ashley gets off the boat just fine but the stern kicks to port before Dan can disembark to tie down the stern. The kids did great. They were born with salt in their veins.
